  3. 91Ӱ Student Becomes First Enhanced Air Traffic Control Graduate Hired by FAA

    91Ӱ’s Rebecca Nobles became the first graduate of an Enhanced Air Traffic Control program in the United States to be hired directly by the Federal Aviation Administration. Nobles bypassed the traditional FAA Academy thanks to 91Ӱ’s participation in the FAA’s Enhanced Air Traffic–Collegiate Training Initiative.

    Students and hobbyists faced off in “Discovery Destruction,” a combat robotics tournament hosted by Tulsa Community Combat Robotics and Combat Robots of Oklahoma. Among the competitors was father-daughter duo, recent 91Ӱ graduate Kody Fimple and his 6-year-old daughter, Masyn.
