Hey PACURH, 

 

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to be the first to inform you that this year at the Region Leadership Conference instead of having the traditional Program Of the Year (POY) Bid seen in the boardroom, we will be switching  to a new format along the lines of a POY Feedback session. The RBD and I decided to do this for two reasons: The first of which is that we want more people to be able to write POY bids for events that are happening closer to the conference. We as an RBD felt that this was an opportunity to make the bidding process more equitable and also give people who have never written a bid before, the opportunity to get more insight into what the process looks like. The second reason behind this is so that as mentioned before, anyone in the region who has never bid before let alone has attended a conference, can have an opportunity to get feedback on their bid before it will be seen at an educational session later this year. We are still in the process of planning out exactly what this space will look like but please be aware that as long as you show up to the space with something that you have put work on, you will be eligible for feedback.
